Message	hey all, here's link below to show what too much boost can do. once u get to the page, check the first 2 pics [1 is the rod that was in the pan, the other shows how bad the bottom end is-looks like someone set a grenade off in the pan!]. the story was that the previous owner was running over 21 lbs boost, racing a viper, doing over 130mph and the engine siezed...i later purchased the car to nurse it back to health. there were multiple holes in the oil pan and once removed all these chunks fell out, including the remainder of 1 of the rods. it looks like the rod failed, taking with it the main bearing supports/rails. check out the black heat stress coloring on the crank, block, etc!
